E2S showcases new UL1971 LED signals for hazardous locations at this year’s NFPA conference

NFPA member E2S Warning Signals is the world’s largest independent manufacturer of audible and visual warning signals for use in fire detection systems installed in commercial, industrial and hazardous areas. On Booth 1117 at the NFPA Show, 04 – 07 June, Boston MA, E2S will showcase its unique ‘D2xB1’ Class I Division 2 LED notification device, UL1971 listed for hearing impaired and suitable for NFPA72 Public Mode Fire Alarm applications. The innovative beacon is self-synchronizing on multi-unit systems without the need for any additional modules and features minimal operating current and in-rush. The marine grade, LM6, aluminium Type 4, 4X IP66 enclosure has a chromate and powder coated finish for maximum corrosion protection. User configurable options include surface and conduit mounting. Pluggable and duplicate terminations mean quick installation and enable multiple units to be looped or daisy-chained without requiring additional junction boxes. Integrated monitoring diodes and user-configurable end of line options ensure compatibility with supervised control panels.

Also on show will be the ‘D1x’ family of explosion proof alarm horn sounders and combined alarm horns with Xenon beacons all approved for Class 1 Division 1 environments and the ‘D2x’ family of Class I Division 2 audible and combination signals – all suitable for public and private mode fire alarm use. For safe area signalling applications E2S will also be demonstrating its ‘AlertAlarm’ family of industrial grade alarm horn sounders featuring up to 45 alarm tone frequencies, all integrated in lightweight polymeric, Type 3R & 13 IP66, enclosures available with and without Xenon strobe and LED lights.

Brett Isard and John Rattlidge will be manning the booth to meet existing customers and contacts, demonstrate products, answer questions and discuss upcoming new product developments.
